Hi friend! I hope you’ve hada wonderful week. As promised I’m back into the swing of things, which means it’s recipe time! This recipe is an adaptation of the one Marion made at our retreat in Langley, BC a couple of weeks ago.

Seriously, most of us ate the food solely as an excuse to cover every morsel with this dressing. So obviously I had to hunt it down when I got home and put my own little spin on it. I found it needed a slight bit more balance to it in terms of the saltiness factor so I’ve tweaked a couple things here and there and swapped out vegetable oil for a healthier option.

The end result is delicious. Like I’m-eating-it-with-a-spoon-as-I-type delicious. Ok… maybe it’s more of a licking-it-off-my-finger-as-I-type moment, which is slightly less classy, but the point is this stuff is liquid gold!

Since salad season is upon us, you’ll need something full of healthy fats, calcium, and protein to slather on top of it to jazz it up a bit. This sauce also makes an amazing dressing for salad rolls, grilled meats, salmon, shrimp, roasted veggies, quinoa, rice, stir-fries. Anything you can put on a skewer and grill. You get the point. So without further ado, here’s the recipe!

This recipe is the best to use with your Buddha bowls, grain bowls, veggie wraps, or even as a dip! It’s full of rich flavour and super easy to pull together. Plus the nutritional yeast adds a great hit of protein and B vitamins!

Ingredients

  • 1/3cupapple cider vinegar
  • 1/3cuporganicGF tamari or coconut aminos
  • 1/4cuprice vinegar
  • 1/3cupwater
  • 1/2cup+ 2 tbsp. nutritional yeast
  • 3clovesof garlic
  • 3tbsp.tahini
  • 4tbsp.honey or maple syrupI like to do half & half!
  • 1cupolive oil

Instructions

  1. Combine ACV, tamari, rice vinegar, water, nutritional yeast, garlic, tahini, and maple/honey in a medium sized mixing bowl using an immersion blender. Conversely, you can throw them in a food processor.

  2. Once smooth, slowly drizzle in olive oil while blending until fully incorporated.

  3. Enjoy!

As always, dressings taste best when they are allowed to sit overnight, so I suggest making this the day before any special events then wowing all your friends and family with your amazing kitchen prowess 😉

What a lovely looking dressing. It reminds me of Liquid Gold Dressing but I want to try yours, too.

AWESOME. Will make again for always! Learned the hardway that it should all go into a large food processor instead of the small one- ha! Oops. Thanks for another great one Cait!

Haha yeah this does make a larger batch…. because it’s so good you need lots! I’ve also left out the water and used it as a topping for kale chips and broccoli bites. Worked like a charm!

Wow, I just made this tonight.
In a last minute search on pinterest, this showed up.
I happened to have all the ingredients, so I thought I’d give it a go.
While putting it together, I was not so sure this would be so hot but Oh My Goodness, this is Delicious!

Thank you for this, it will become a regular in my fridge, that’s for sure.

Hi Kat! This is my all-time favourite dressing! It lasts in the fridge about a week, but it also freezes really well if you want to store half of it 🙂 Just whip it up again after it’s thawed. Enjoy!!
